Exciting times!

Wow, at the end of last week and early this week, Sam had mono. Isn't that special? It's not so bad for little kids as it is for teens and adults. However, we still had to keep him home so he wouldn't share. How does a 3 year old get mono? Don't know...the incubation is 4-8 weeks. Oh well, I guess it was his turn again. His fever is gone, and so is the swelling in his lymphs in his neck. I'm just hoping that in a month or two, we won't have any new cases in the family!

End of Week 6

I had a very rough week. I pretty much stayed within caloric range for the meals I was supposed to eat, but I did miss a few meals too many, and tried to deal with depression this week. I see the importance of an on-time bed time and wake up, exercise and enough of the good foods to eat. I want to do better on all that for this week. Wish me luck!
